Tree House Child Care offers:
The early childhood years (birth to 6 years) are regarded as the foundation upon which a child's life is constructed. From birth, young children develop socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically, acquiring the knowledge, skills and attitudes essential to their ongoing growth and development to adulthood.
The children's program is developed by our early childhood trained staff and reflects Tree House's unique philosophy and committment to the environment and our local community.
The Emergent Curriculum is the basis of the Tree House Child Care program. The Emergent Curriculum is largely based on:
For example: If a child shows an interest in a topic or activity, then Tree House staff are encouraged to facilitate this interest by providing resources and materials to help guide the children's learning, exploration and discovery.
The aim is to find out how children learn and how they use their personal experience and knowledge to reach conclusions. The aim is not product driven.
The Portfolio Method of Planning is used by Tree House to document your child's learning and development throughout your family's time at our service.
Environmental Program: Tree House has a commitment to promote Environmental sustainability within our long day care setting.
Kindergarten Program: A Kindergarten program is provided for 3 & 4 year olds.
